
Terms of Service
Business Name: Trackside Heavy Diesel
By accepting a quote from Trackside Heavy Diesel, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Quote & Deposit
All quotes provided by Trackside Heavy Diesel are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
Once a quote is accepted via our online quoting and accounting platform, a 30% deposit is required before we proceed with ordering parts or scheduling fitment.
No parts will be ordered, nor any works commenced, until the deposit is received in full. For any labour quotes - once agreed the payment is required in full the date following the service/job.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due within 7 days of job completion.
Payments can be made via Direct Debit.
If your payment is more than 30 days overdue, a 20% late fee may be added to the total invoice amount.
3. Ownership of Parts
All parts installed or delivered for the job will remain the property of Trackside Heavy Diesel until payment is received in full, including any late fees where applicable.
4. Site Access & Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure:
Safe and reasonable access to the property for fitment.
Any necessary permissions (e.g. from body corporate or landlord) are in place prior to works beginning.
Any delays caused by access issues may result in rescheduling and/or additional fees.
5. Changes & Cancellations
Changes to the job after acceptance of the quote may incur additional charges. Notification will be provided with reasonable notice before proceeding.
If the job is cancelled after parts have been ordered, the deposit will be forfeited and you may be charged for any additional costs already incurred.
6. Warranties
Our products and workmanship are covered under the manufacturer and fitment warranties provided at the time of purchase. Warranty periods vary based on product type, details will be outlined in your quote or on request.
Warranties are voided if:
The product is damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification.
The fitment has been tampered with by anyone not approved by Trackside Heavy Diesel.
7. Liability
We take all reasonable care during fitment, but we’re not liable for:
Pre-existing wear, damage or structural faults on the equipment.
Minor damage to surfaces during fitment or installation of parts.
8. Dispute Resolution
If something’s not right, we want to fix it. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have a concern. We’ll always aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
In the unlikely event that a formal dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt resolution via mediation before pursuing legal action.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. It's your responsibility to review these terms before accepting a new quote.
